Liquid properties: including the name of the liquid, physical properties (such as temperature, density, viscosity) and chemical properties (such as chemical corrosiveness and toxicity). These properties directly affect the material selection and shaft seal form of the pump. For example, a magnetic pump can be used to transport corrosive liquids such as sulfuric acid because it has the advantages of no shaft seal, no leakage, no bubbles, and high safety performance.
Pipeline layout conditions of the device system: including data such as liquid delivery height, liquid delivery distance, and the minimum and maximum liquid levels of the suction port and discharge port. These conditions affect the system's head calculation and cavitation margin verification.
Operating conditions: including the operating temperature of the liquid, saturated steam pressure, pressure on the suction side and discharge side, altitude, ambient temperature, and pump location. These factors affect the selection and performance of the pump.
